Promotions 

The purpose of this committee is to plan and implement approved events and promotions in the BIA area within the Mission and Vision of the BIA, and within the approved budget. Changes to the plan should be communicated by the committee to the Board for approval. The committee may recruit volunteers outside of the committee to assist with events/promotions as needed.

BEAUTIFICATION

The purpose of this committee is to create and implement a beautification and physical improvement plan as proposed by the Board on an annual basis. This plan should take into consideration the Municipal Master Plan which shall act as a "road map" for BIA improvements. This committee shall also work in collaboration with the municipality, and other committees in the community with similar interests.

Security

The purpose of this committee is to identify any safety issues that may be of concern in the BIA designated area. The committee will act as liaison with the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service as required. The committee will keep the Board informed of any safety issues and make recommendations accordingly. This also includes ensuring that any safety concerns are communicated to members as required.

Communication

This committee is responsible for ensuring that the BIA members are kept informed of all activities, promotions, concerns, news and security issues in the BIA area. The tools used to complete this mission are to be determined by the committee. 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ADVOCACY 

The Business Development & Advocacy Committee spearheads advocacy efforts for all BIA members. It represents the BIA's vision, seeks collaboration with other organizations, and ensures the BIA's interests are considered in impactful projects. The committee contributes to strategic plans, initiates business development projects, secures funding, and supports new businesses. Composed of a Chair appointed by the BIA Board and passionate BIA Members at-large, it plays a crucial role in fostering the district's growth and vitality.

Finance

The Finance Committee is tasked with financial responsibilities within the BIA. It annually prepares the budget and allocates funds to each committee while also handling additional duties as required. This committee comprises the BIA Chair, Treasurer, and another BIA Board Member selected by the Board, ensuring a dedicated team overseeing the BIA's financial matters.
